The Inventory Management project is a comprehensive solution tailored for a public university in Pakistan, designed to streamline the management of exam-related materials across its vast network of 470 sub-campuses and colleges. Built using Next.js for the frontend, Node.js for backend services, and styled with Tailwind CSS, this platform offers a robust, scalable, and user-friendly system to oversee inventory and logistics of critical exam materials, such as answer sheets, question papers, and stationery. On the frontend, Next.js ensures a responsive and efficient user interface, allowing administrators and staff across all campuses to easily access inventory data in real-time. With server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) capabilities, Next.js ensures fast load times and a smooth user experience, even with large data volumes.
The backend, powered by Node.js, handles essential functionalities like inventory tracking, order requests, and report generation, ensuring all materials are available where they are needed, when they are needed. Node.js’s scalability is crucial for accommodating the diverse needs of hundreds of campuses, supporting efficient request handling, stock updating, and secure data transactions. With Tailwind CSS providing a clean and responsive design, the platform offers an intuitive layout that adapts seamlessly across devices. This allows staff and administrators to manage their inventory tasks effectively, whether they’re working on desktops or mobile devices.
